Isaac Bay Beach

East End, St. Croix

Isaac Bay is an incredible, long white sand stretch of a beach located within the east end preserve on the south eastern side of St. Croix. The beach is the second beach along the trailhead starting at Point Udall, which first takes you to East End Baybefore Isaac Bay. The walk is about 0.6 miles, mostly downhill and taking around 20 minutes from the trailhead to the beach. Upon crossing the top of the knob you'll be presented a wonderful view of the beach with the ocean and reef on the left, the beach in the middle, and Goat Mountain on the right.

The offshore barrier reef from the beach keeps the waters near the shore relatively protected making for nice swimming. The reef also provides some great snorkeling, but be sure to have a buddy. You'll find some other hidden gems on the beach like a beached boat and a little surfer hut down towards the western side. Just behind the beach is Goat Mountain, which you can hike to the top of if you continue on the trail. Continuing further on the trail will take you up over the next hill to Jack's Bay, another awesome beach to checkout if you're visiting this part of the island.
