Jack's Bay Beach

East End, St. Croix

Jack's Bay Beach is locted on the south side of the eastern end of St. Croix. It is the western most beach of the East End Reserve with both Isaac Bay and East End Bay to the east. The only way to get to Jack's Bay is by hiking down the trail for the East End Reserve, which starts near the parking lot for Point Udall. Jack's Bay is about 1 mile down the trail. This distance and the fact that the other two beaches are tempting places for would be visitors to stop make Jack's Bay a very quiet beach. If you're willing to walk the extra distance you'll be treated to an incredible, world class beach all to yourself!

The beach at Jack's Bay is really soft sand and is a pretty wide beach giving visitors a lot of space for playing games. The water at Jack's Bay is generally very calm due to the reef that is a ways off the shore. This makes it a great place to just float and enjoy the wonderful waters of the Carribean Sea. Behind the beach is a thick jungle and it's also impossible to miss Goat Mountain towering above the beach. You can actually hike up to the summit of Goat Mountain via a fork in the east end reserve trail. This fork can take you all the way up and over the mountain range where on the other side you'll actually find yourself all the way on the northern shore and Cramer's Park Beach!
