East End Bay Beach

East End, St. Croix

East End Bay Beach, on the eastern end of St. Croix, is not only the eastern most beach in the Virgin Islands, but is also the eastern most beach in all of the United States! It is a lovely beach with wonderful sunrise views and soft sand. It's not very protected from the eastern winds so it can have some rougher waters, but it gets a slight reprieve by it's southward position on the point.

East End Bay is likely the first beach you'll notice when you first arrive at Point Udall as you get a perfect view of it from above. Just down the road from the sundial at the point you'll find a small parking lot where the trailhead for the east end preserve starts. East End Bay Beach is the first beach along the trail and is less than a mile from the start, all down hill. If you were to continue along the trail you'd first reach Isaac Bay just over the knob and then Jack's Bay next.
