Sapphire Beach

East End, St. Thomas

Sapphire Beach is a super popular beach on the East End of St. Thomas primary due to the Sapphire Beach Resort that sits right off the beach. The resort brings the crowds, but it also brings the amenities! There is a beach bar that is right off of the sand where you can enjoy a beverage and be seconds away from diving into the water. You can also grab a bite to eat and sit at the tables without being a guest at the resort.

Better than the amenities though are the views. You can look out across the Pillsbury Sound towards St. John, the British Virgin Islands, and other smaller islands in between. You can even see some of the other beaches on this site on the shores of St. John like Honeymoon, Salomon, and Caneel Bay! Along with the views there is great snorkeling around the point to the right side of the beach. Further along the left side of the beach you can also snorkel over to Pelican Beach and see some cool corals over there as well.
