Peace Hill

Peace Hill is locaed on the North Shore of St. John on the western end of Hawksnest Bay. It is roughly 10 minutes outside of Cruz Bay in the Virgin Islands National Park. When you arrive at the parking lot you'll see a trail that begins on the edge of the woods. A short ways down the trail there is a path that splits off to the right downhill, which will take you down to Denis Bay. Continuing uphill you'll eventually come to find the old windmill ruins; a reminder of the history of the area. This also indicates that you made it to the top!

The views from Peace Hill of the surrounding area are incredible. You get full view of the beaches within Hawksnest Bay and can see all of the Caneel Bay penninsula. To the north you can see some of the British Virgin Islands including Jost Van Dyke and Tortolla. To the east you can catch sight of Trunk Bay and the cay that lays just off it's coast. Peace Hill truely is a wonderful spot for soaking in the surrounding beauty of St. John
