Cruz Bay Beach

Located in the heart of St. John, Cruz Bay has everything you need. The people ferry from St. Thomas drops you off here, and the list of things to do is endless. There are a variety of restaurants and shops you can walk to. Taxis and buses pick you up the second you hop off the ferry. You can dip your toes in the water immediately! Seconds from Cruz Bay is Mongoose Junction, where you can find more shops and restaurants. From here, you can go anywhere on St. John.

If you're looking for quieter beaches Cruz Bay is very close to several other options. Walking towards the south out of town you can quickly reach Frank Bay. If you go to the USVI National Park headquarters there is a trail behind the parking lot / baseball field where you can walk towards an overlook. Here you can get a wonderful view of the beach in the harbor. If you continue walking you'll reach Salomon Bay Beach and if you walk further you arrive at Honeymoon Beach.
