Europa Bay Beach
Europa Bay is hidden away on the southern shore of St. John and is one of the most secluded beaches on the island. The beach is located past the west end of Great and Little Lameshur Bay down the Lameshur trail. Once on the trail it's about a quarter mile to the point where you'll turn left to go down to Europa Bay! If you were to continue down the trail you would eventually meet up with the Reef Bay trail where you could go check out the petroglyphs or head down to Reef Bay.
The beach at Europa Bay is quite rocky in places and the surf can be rough on days when the wind is coming from the south. However, on days when the wind is clam this bay is a great spot for snorkeling. Since it's so hidden and the conditions are often unfavorable you'll likely have the beach all to yourself. In my opinion being all alone at Europa Bay with the mountains behind you and the open Carribean Sea out front it really feels like you're on an epic adventure. Exploring an island for the first time; maybe it is the first time for you. Viva la Adventura!
