Whale Point Bay Beach
East End, St. Croix
Whale Point is an eastern facing beach on the far eastern side of St. Croix. Being so close to the popular Point Udall the beach gets a number of visitors by proximity, but on a whole it is an oftentimes overlooked spot. Parking at the top of the trailhead it's about a 3 minutes walk down to the beach. The waves can be pretty rough here as the wind comes whipping up the water from the east with no protection or buffer. However, with waves comes the possibility to find shells and other treasures. The beach doesn't have any amenities available so be sure to bring what you need if you plan on exploring this unique part of St. Croix.
