Santa Maria Beach
Santa Maria Beach makes you feel like you have the island all to yourself. Nestled into a small cove the waves break onto the soft sand beach and palm trees site on the edge of the jungle and mountain. There is great snorkeling at Santa Maria on calmer days when the clarity is good. You can find all sorts of fish and coral structures. If you're super adventurous you can even make the swim along the right side point to the nearby Hendrik Bay.
At the Santa Maria Trailhead there is parking for both the Santa Maria and Perserverance Bay trails with enough room for 2 cars. Once there you can walk through a gap in the fence to the right side of the parking spot and there you'll find the trail down to the beach. It's about a 15 minute walk that takes you through the jungle and past some cool ruins towards the bottom.
