Perseverance Bay Beach

West End, St. Thomas

Perseverance Bay is the most perfectly named beach on all of St. Thomas because it truely does take perseverance to get to it. Starting from Brewers Bay you can kayak around Black Point and then along the shore line to reach the beach or starting from the Santa Maria trailhead you can hike south through the woods, down the hill, past the ruins, and past the salt pond to get to the beach. It is truely an adventure either way you do it. Or I guess you could just boat over...

Perseverance Bay is a very long and rocky beach on the south side of St. Thomas, just around the corner from Brewers Bay. There is some really great snorkeling in places where you can see lots of fish and reef structure. There is also a shipwreck that has been on the beach for several years now that you can check out. If you're looking for a beach that not many people go to and want an adventure then Perseverance Bay is the perfect beach for you!
