Mandahl Bay Beach

Northside, St. Thomas

Mandahl Bay is a quiet beach with beatiful views of Hans Lollik Island just off the shore. The beach is partially rocky with a jetty on the eastern side that forms the entrance to the salt pond just behind the beach. You can walk down the dirt road to find another small beach along the salt pond and see the boats that are anchored there. There is a quaint rope swing towards the right end of the beach where you can take some nice pictures. Mandahl is a great place to grill and many locals will go down on the weekends to enjoy the sun and sand... and some good food!

To the east of the beach in Mandahl Hill, where you can find a overgrown yet adventure filled hiking trail to the top. Right around the corner from this beach, further down the road from Mandahl Hill you'll find Tutu Bay which has another neat beach to explore while you're in the area.
