Cocculus Beach

Southside, St. Thomas

Cocculus Beach is a lesser known on the Southside of St. Thomas. This beach is mostly rocky at the waterline with some nice sand more inland. This beach is a great place to hunt for shells, sea glass, and other treasures among the rocks. Just behind the beach is the Sea Cliff Villas community. The people who live in or are visiting the community are probably the only people you'll find at the beach, which makes it a pretty quiet place.

Cocculus is just around the corner from the better know Bolongo Bay Beach. Since the beach is locked behind a private community you can park over in the Bolongo parking lot and walk through the community to the beach. If you walk to the far right (western) side of the beach you'll find a path through the woods that goes up the hill. Over this hill you'll find a path to Little Cocculus Beach, in the next bay over. Explore the entire area!
