Bolongo Bay Beach

Bolongo Bay is located on the southern shore of St. Thomas and is a medium sized sandy beach. It is the home of the Bolongo Bay Beach Resort which brings with it some nice amenities to the beach. There is a restaurant that serves great breakfast and is right on the water. On the property you will also find the St. Thomas Dive Center, a place I can highly recommend for diving excursions. The beach has a dock where the dive boats are making it an awesome post dive hangout spot right there on the beach; grab a beer, sit on the beach, and talk about everything you saw on the dive!

The area around Bolongo Bay is fun to explore. You can walk along the left (eastern) side of the beach to the point where there are some fun rocks to climb around on. Walking to the right side of the beach you'll enter a condo community. Here is where you can find Mim's Seaside Bistro, an excellent restaurant enjoyed by locals and tourists alike. If you walk to the other side of the community you'll find two unfrequented beaches in Coculus and Little Coculusbeaches.
