Castaway Beach

Water Island
Castaway Beach is a fairly unremarkable beach on the north eastern side of Water Island within the East Gregerie Channel. The beach is rocky with a lush, forrested hill just behind the beach. The water is a beautiful clear turquoise color. The easiest way of getting to Castaway Beach is to kayak from the nearby Frenchtown marina. Land based options to getting to the beach involves walking through a private community on the northern end of water island and bushwhacking down to the beach. Probably not worth it unless you're trying to get to every beach in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Across the East Gregerie Channel from Castaway Beach you can see Hassel Beach and just to the north is Banana Bay.
