Vessup Beach

East End, St. Thomas

Vessup beach is a long stretch of white sand beach on the far eastern end of St. Thomas. The beach is mostly undeveloped with lots of trees, sea grapes, and other plants making it a serene atmosphere away from the nearby hustle and bustle of Red Hook. With parking available among the trees you can easily find a shady spot to park and setup a picnic or have a grill out.

The beach at Vessup is a great place to take a walk and look out into Red Hook harbor. You can see all the boats and ferries coming in and out all day long. The water is also really nice to swim in and doesn't get too deep if you stay near the share, perfect for kids. The locals love to hang out here on the weekends to grill and listen to music making it a wonderfully lively time.
