Rick's Secret Beach

Northside, St. Croix

Who is this mysterious Rick and why does he have a secret beach named after him? To be honest I don't know the answer to either of these questions, but I can tell you a little about the beach. Located on the north eastern point of St. Croix this beach is just down the road from Hams Bluff Lighthouse. As you drive towards the lighthouse it will be on the left, but you'll probably miss it if you aren't looking for it - that's why it's secret after all. There are a couple of parking spots in between the canopy of maho trees making for a nice private spot to setup.

The beach isn't that large, but it is definitely very private. You'll likely have it all to yourself. When I visited there were some locals surfing near the rocks off the right side of the beach. It looked like it got some decent surf so definitely a place to checkout if you're interested in that. Otherwise I think this beach would make a great spot to setup for the day with a grill to enjoy some quiet and the beauty of the island.
