Platform Beach

Northside, St. Thomas
This beach is convenient for visitors staying in Peterborg. To access this beach you have to park at the top of a hill where you see a private drive and "via dominica" street signs. You hike down the hill until you have a staircase, it is steep so this is not recommended for everyone, additionally, you might have to climb over some rocks, but the beach is worth it! It is small, but one of the few beaches where dogs are welcome and there is a beautiful tree that provides shade for most of the day. Make sure you check tides before you go; during high tide, there might not be enough beach to sit and relax. The squishiest sand, and bluest water, and it is likely you will have this beach to yourself!
