Michelle's Beach

Water Island

Michelle's Beach is a medium sized rocky beach within Sprat Bay, close to the far eastern point of Water Island. The beach is a mix of rocky and sandy sections. The beach faces towards the south so it gets plenty of fresh water from the Carribean sea making it a clean and refreshing place to swim with some interesting snorkeling as well. With the unobstructed souther view the waves can get pretty big if there is a southern swell so watch out! With it's location tucked away on a hard to reach point on the already out of the way location on Water Island, Michelle's beach is always a quiet getaway where you can stare at the Carribean Sea and the boats coming and going in peace.

Getting to Michelle's beach is no easy task, especially if you do not live on Water Island. If you are a guest within the private gated community (or live there) then you can take Beach Trail Road down to Sprat Bay Beach and from there find the trail through the woods that goes south east. It may be overgrown a bit, but it'll take you to Michelle's beach. Your other option for getting there is to boat over. A motor boat is the easiest option, but if you have a kayak I'd recommend leaving from the Frenchtown Marina and kayaking through East Gregerie Channel.
