Limetree Beach

Limetree is a nice beach on the south side of St. Thomas, just a couple miles outside of downtown Chartlotte Amalia. The beach is located within the Limetree Beach Resort, which provides a free parking area for non-resort visitors to use when accessing the beach or restaurants. Due to it's location within a world class resort the beach is well maintained making it a nice spot to go if you're finding that other beaches are covered with smelly sargasm seaweed. Lanai, the main restaurant at the resort, is a great place to eat around sunset (and happy hour) for their great drinks and good. All of which is suprisingly affordable given the quality and location! This makes Limetree the perfect beach for an all day outing: swim and tan in the morning and then enjoy an indrecidble dinner and drinks at sunset.

The rocky point on the east side of the beach serves to protect from a majority of the surf that would've hit the beach so the water here is really calm and makes for enjoyable swimming conditions. There are some rocky areas on both ends of the beach that make for good snorkeling and exploring.
