Fortuna Bay Beach

West End, St. Thomas
Tucked away on the Carribean side on the west end of the island, Fortuna Bay Beach is a hidden gem for those looking to relax with a view. From the beach looking southward you have views of the nearby islands of Saba, Turtledove Cay, and the Flat Cays. The real secret of Fortuna Bay is the snorkeling. Heading from the beach towards the east you'll find lots of vibrant coral structures of star corals that provide shelter to fish and lobster. Swimming across the bay to the other side you'll find lots of elkhorn corals by the rock wall. Lastly, the beach has a cute little rope swing on the west end of it tucked away in the trees. Sit there, enjoy the views, and let all your worries float away.
