Davis Bay Beach

Davis Bay is tucked away on the rugged Northern Shore of St. Croix. The beach is home to the Carambola Beach Resort. There is a parking lot just before the guard gate to the left where visitors can park and then walk down to the beach following the signs. The beach has nice sand and a lot of coral structures in the water for snorkeling and diving. There is a dive shop at the resort where you can rent gear if you want to get a closer look! Along the coast line there are a number of interesting overhangs and tidal pools that you can explore.

From the beach if you look towards the west (left) you can see the mountains towards the west end of the island. On clear days you can even catch a glimpse of Hams Bluff Lighthouse up on the mountain. Also towards the west, but closer to the beach are Annaly Bay Tide Pools. These pools are neat bath like pools that are filled up with the waves, but provide protection from the surf. You can hike to these pools from the Davis Bay parking lot where instead of heading down to the beach you go to the opposite end of the parking lot where you'll see the trailhead. Happy trails!
