Coki Beach

East End, St. Thomas

Coki beach is one of the premier beaches on St. Thomas for lounging and play. Located on the eastern side of the island, Coki Beach is snuggled within a protected area between Coki point and Thatch Key. Off the right side of the beach you can see the Coral World Ocean Park underwater observatory tower. The park is a great place to visit if you want to see cool sea life including sharks, turtles, parrots, and so much more.

Coki is a favorite among locals for it soft wide sand and calm, clear waters. The terrain just outside the buoy markers starts to slope downwards to a depth around 50 feet and has an abundance of sea life including turtles, corals, and fish. There's a dive shop adjacent to the beach where you can rent gear if interested. Snorkeling is also really great along the right side of the beach near the rocks.

If you're more interested in just relaxing Coki has all the amenities you need. You can rent chairs and get table side service from several different restaurants on the beach. Enjoy a delicious cocktail while gazing across the water at Thatch Key (which is for currently for sale...). Lastly be sure to try some of the delicious local food at one of the many restaurants! It's the absolute best.
